God, the writing of this show. Seriously. THE WRITING.

Because what George Dickham is doing is clear emotional abuse and its sickening and the writers are portraying it perfectly because that’s what abuse is in real life. Some of it is graphic and violent and in your face and other times, other situations, like Lydia’s, is slow and calculating and so subtle. Wickham’s good at reading people and he’s read Lydia perfectly.

So, while I hate Lydia’s situation and I hate Dickham, I have to give ALL the props to the writers and the actors. Because it feels real and I know it isn’t but it does.
